STREAMING AND DAC PERFORMANCE

The 390 is built on MOON's experience with award-winning DAC technology and integrates it into a complete streaming platform. The DAC handles PCM resolutions up to 32-bit/384 kHz as well as native DSD up to DSD256 and is fully MQA-certified. This provides access to master-quality streaming from services such as TIDAL Masters and Qobuz Sublime+, while also being Roon Ready for seamless integration into advanced digital systems.

The built-in MiND2 module makes it possible to stream both locally stored files and online sources, while the multiroom function makes it possible to send signals to other MiND2 devices in the home.

ANALOG VERSATILITY AND PHONO STAGE

In addition to the digital functions, the 390 includes a fully configurable phono stage for both MM and MC cartridges, allowing a vinyl collection to be integrated directly into the system. With an analog input impedance of 22 kΩ and a maximum input voltage of 5 V RMS, it can handle a wide range of sources, while a gain of 10 dB ensures optimal signal matching.

HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER

MOON 390 also has a dedicated headphone amplifier that delivers 100 mW into 600 ohms, 200 mW into 300 ohms, and a full 0,8 W into 50 ohms. This enables it to drive both easy-to-drive and more demanding high-end headphones with precision and authority.

DESIGN AND EASE OF USE

With a width of 43 cm, a height of 8,9 cm, and a weight of 10 kg, the 390 is solidly built yet still compact enough to fit into modern setups. Power consumption is optimized with 25 W in operation and just 4 W in low-power standby, combining high-end performance with efficiency.

The user interface is intuitive with a clear display, and MOON Hybrid Power technology (MHP) ensures stable operation regardless of power conditions. RS-232 and 12V trigger make it well suited for integration into advanced systems.
