The AXA35 is a superb entry-level amplifier with 2 x 35 watts. It has a built-in moving magnet RIAA amplifier, making it the perfect choice for the vinyl enthusiast. On the front there is a nice white LED dot matrix display that shows the sound source, and separate tone controls that allow you to adjust the sound to your preferences. There is also a large 6.35 mm headphone jack, which is ideal for those who want quality listening without disturbing others in the home.

This is due to the toroidal transformer it uses, a technology found higher up in our range. Built-in RIAA amplifier for your turntable

The built-in phono stage is the essence of the AXA35. This means you can connect a record player directly without additional equipment. Moving magnet (MM) compatibility means the AXA35 works with a wide range of turntables – including that vintage one you've been eyeing. Adjust the sound to your liking

With separate bass and treble controls, you can fine-tune the sound of the AXA35's to your preferences, speakers and room dynamics. The volume is shown on the LED dot matrix display, and with 35 watts per channel, you get plenty of power for small to medium-sized rooms.

Versatile connectivity options

The AXA35 is a well-connected amplifier with no less than 4 pairs of RCA inputs, plus a pair of phono jacks for a turntable and a pair of record outputs. There's also a rear USB port for tech upgrades. Hi-fi quality speaker binding terminals (plugs), compatible with banana plugs, means thick cable connects securely for authentic sound.

Like the rest of the AX range, the AXA35 shares our house style with a minimalist Lunar Gray front, black steel cabinet and a 'floating' base.
