The Cambridge Audio CXN100 is a sublime streamer that offers incredible value for money. The CXN100 builds on the legacy of the award-winning CXN V2, and you now get the 4th version of the StreamMagic platform, which gives you one of the best streaming experiences on the market. The user experience is incredibly intuitive and one of the best on the market. The StreamMagic app lets you control it all from one place, and with support for AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify and TIDAL Connect, you can stream any track you want.
One of the biggest novelties of the CXN100 is the upgraded DAC. The CXN100 has been equipped with the excellent ES9028Q2M DAC from ESS Technology, which delivers a large, detailed and three-dimensional sound image. It opens up support for DSD files up to 22.5MHz/DSD512 and PCM files up to 32-bit 768kHz, so you can stream in true hi-res without compromise. Cambridge Audio has also added support for MQA support, built-in Bluetooth SBC/AAC, and a built-in network card that now supports both 2.4 and 5Ghz WiFi.
The front display has also been upgraded, so you get a more intuitive and informative user experience with the larger and better resolution screen.

Dac delen har været en fornøjelse at stifte bekendtskab med. Efter - en noget lang - opvarmning, leverer den et virkelig godt resultat med åbenhed, detaljer og lethed.
Indtil videre har jeg ikke oplevet filformater den ikke kan håndtere. Integrationen med Spotify og Tidal foregår uden problemer.
Mit eneste ankepunkt er netradio delen. Jeg synes lyden er til den mørke side i forhold til andet udstyr jeg har, eller har prøvet. Denne detalje trækker en enkelt stjerne fra.
Men, alt i alt et godt køb. 🙂

Dette er mit første Cambridge produkt. Jeg har tidligere beskæftiget mig med langt dyrere udstyr og jeg må indrømme at denne maskine gør det bare rigtig godt. Der ingen problemer med opsætning. Alt virker efter hensigten og så lyder den bare rigtig godt. Uden at nævne nogle mærke kan jeg uden problemer sige af CXN100 både lyder og afvikler bedre end væsentligt dyrere maskiner.
Nu savner jeg bare en kraftigere forstærkere fra Cambridge i samme serie end dem der tilbydes på nuværende tidspunkt.
