The new SignatureX power cable has been designed, hand built and tested in England to ensure the best performance and quality. In addition, the SignatureX power cable has the advantage of the very latest XLPE insulation, which is also found in many of Chord's speaker cables. This XLPE insulation ensures that the cable always has a high performance in all environments and installations.

In addition to the unique Chord Company ARAY geometry, the new SignatureX power cable also has significantly heavier conductors, which provide far less resistance and thus greater efficiency.

The IEC and output connectors themselves are specified with silver-plated external and internal contacts to create maximum performance. However, in order to achieve the best performance, it is also necessary to shield against all the common noise generated by sources such as mobiles, wifi, bluetooth, etc., which is why Chord has equipped the SignatureX with a high-density foil and braid screen, which is designed to be able to keep as much of this interference away from the signal and thus the sound.
