The new NP5 Prisma MK2 is designed to be small enough to fit inconspicuously into any system, yet has the functionality of Primare's award-winning Prisma module This streamer allows you to enjoy full Prisma connectivity to virtually any component with a digital input - both stereo and multi-channel - regardless of whether it is Primare or another brand. Technology
The NP5 Prisma MK2 is a network player built to fit any and every system and includes all the features found in Primare's award-winning Prisma models. In addition to being able to control networked hard drives, Prisma also includes AirPlay 2, Bluetooth®, Roon Ready, and Spotify Connect® as well as Chromecast built-in. This provides a unique streaming portal that makes it easy to connect to hundreds of streaming applications and services, including voice control, ensuring the best performance and user experience.
Prisma technology was created to allow everyone in the household to explore, discover and share the deeply satisfying experience that high-performance music playback can provide. The product allows you to connect several rooms or zones and control both stored and streamed media wirelessly or by cable. All this can be controlled from mobile devices through streaming service applications and the Prisma system.
Specifically designed to be small enough to fit unnoticed into any system, the NP5 Prisma MK2 can be used with any product with a digital input, both stereo and home cinema systems, Primare or other brands, offering full Prisma stereo- network music player connection and control. The product is thus the perfect network player for everyone and every system.
The NP5 Prisma also provides volume adjustment, mute, standby and input selection for previous Primare models with RS232 inputs via the comprehensive Prisma application.

Primare NP5 Prisma MK2 er en fin lille boks, som giver bedre lyd når man streamer, i stedet for f.eks en Bluetoothforbindelse, og der er adgang til internetradio hvilket er dejligt. Der findes enkelte musikkanaler, som f.eks Linn Jazz og Linn Classic, der streamer i en rimelig opløsning.
Det “men” jeg har med er pga den ret langsomme respons der er mellem Prisma app'en og boksen.
At app'en finder boksen tager noget tid - og et hvert skift er langsomt - f.eks fra radiokanal til radiokanal, eller skift til streaming osv. Det kunne jeg ønske mig væsentligt forbedret.

Primare har i min optik som sædvanlig godt kvalitet/pris forhold. Tilslut dog bedre strømforsyning, f.eks Ifi ipower x.

Jeg er rigtig glad for min nye Primare NP5 Prisma MK2 streamer, som har givet nyt liv til min Primare NP30. Appen er ok men kan ikke nå Sonos brugervenlighed. Jeg har bestilt en ny lineær strømforsyning til den og håber den giver det sidste til lyden.
