Manual record player with 10'' carbon tonearm

The RPM 3 Carbon uses evolutionary improvements to improve the performance of the RPM series: a low-resonance chassis holds an inverted ceramic ball bearing for further reduced rumble. An outboard motor 15V AC motor is smoothly driven using an ultra-precision AC generator with DC power supply for further improved speed stability. A 10" S-shaped tonearm tube is made of carbon fiber, aluminum and resin. Using a complex 3-step process of heat treatment and 100 bar pressure, the rigidity of the tonearm is strengthened, internal damping is maximized and resonances are reduced to a minimum. This also makes the tonearm suitable for MC pickups.Additional features are a magnetic anti-skating mechanism and a TPE cushioned counterweight.

The RPM 3 Carbon comes with an Ortofon 2M-Silver pickup. A super-shielded, semi-balanced, low-capacity Pro-Ject Connect it E phono cable is included.
