Sonus Faber Sonetto I - As small as it is strong

Sonus Faber has always taken its inspiration from the traditional Italian culture, and with this series they turn to the history of Italian literature to represent the new Sonetto collection. The sonetto (sonnet) is the oldest Italian poetic structure, originally meaning "Sound, Melody" and traditionally used to accompany musical performances. With Sonetto I, Sonus Faber brings us closer to the history of literature in Italy and in the rest of the world.

A compact speaker

Sonetto I offers the most advanced design solutions, which include, among other things, a completely new reflex port, which is implemented in a unique way in the speaker stand. It provides a much more controlled air system, which helps make this compact speaker an excellent performer, ideal for medium-sized listening rooms and for use on a bookshelf or stand. The entire Sonetto series is of course hand-built in Italy, and represent one of the finest visual expressions in the entire Hi-Fi industry. Sonetto I is, in truth, as beautiful as it is musical.

Functions

The innovative reflex port means that the Sonetto I is designed to be a compact loudspeaker in the service of music, capable of involving the listener with discretion and elegance. The rounded enclosure is chosen based on its ability to eliminate standing waves while providing a stiffer enclosure. It gives a more uncolored sound reproduction, so the sound is more true to reality. For the bass/midrange unit, Sonus Faber has chosen diaphragm material in natural fibers, which has an ideal stiffness and lightness.

The loudspeaker is of course built in Italy, and presents a sound and aesthetics that together are completely unique in the Hi-Fi world. Place them on top of the elegant aluminum stands and you have one of the best looking speaker systems on the market.
